This Policy does not govern third-party websites, applications, products, or services that may be linked from or integrated with the App. Those third parties process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
2. Information Processed on Your Device
When you grant the necessary permissions, the App may access and process the following information locally on your device.
2.1 Photos, Videos, Documents, and Other Files
The App may access files stored on your device, including:
- photos and images;
- videos;
- screenshots;
- files in shared storage and the Downloads folder;
- APK, ZIP, PDF, and other supported file types;
- file names, sizes, MIME types, modification dates, folder paths, and storage locations; and

- identify duplicate or similar photos;
- identify screenshots, large files, unused files, and other cleanup candidates;
- group and display files for review;
- calculate storage usage and potential storage savings; and
- perform deletion or organization actions selected by you.
The contents of your personal photos, videos, documents, and files are not uploaded to our servers. Image fingerprints or hashes used for similarity detection are generated and used locally and are not transmitted to us.
2.2 Local Scan Results
The App may create a local database containing scan results, categories, file references, storage statistics, and cleanup history necessary to provide its features.
Local scan information remains on your device and is removed when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App, subject to the behavior of your device operating system and any device backup settings controlled by you or your platform provider.
2.3 Device and App Information
The App may process device and application information such as:
- device model;
- operating-system version;
- language and region;
- App version;
- screen or session information;
- available, used, and total storage;
- feature availability; and
- permission status.
This information may be used locally to provide compatible features and may also be included in analytics or diagnostic data as described below.
3. Information Collected or Processed Through Third-Party Services
The App uses selected Google services for analytics, diagnostics, advertising, consent management, and purchases. Depending on the service, your region, device settings, consent choices, and App configuration, these services may automatically collect or process certain information.

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the App and to improve features, usability, and performance.
The information processed may include:
- App-open and session events;
- screen views and feature interactions;
- scan-start, scan-completion, and cleanup-related events;

- other pseudonymous usage information generated by the analytics SDK.
We do not intentionally send the contents or file paths of your personal photos, videos, documents, or other files to Google Analytics for Firebase.
3.2 Firebase Crashlytics
We may use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and improve App stability.
Crashlytics may process:
- crash stack traces;
- relevant application state at the time of a crash;
- device metadata;
- App version and operating-system information;
- diagnostic logs;
- Crashlytics installation identifiers; and
- limited user-action breadcrumbs immediately preceding a crash, where enabled.
We do not intentionally include the contents or file paths of your personal files in crash reports. However, diagnostic information may contain technical details generated by the App or operating system.
3.3 Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads SDK
The App may display advertisements using Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Depending on your device settings, region, consent choices, ad-serving mode, and SDK configuration, Google may automatically collect or share information such as:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- App launches, taps, ad impressions, video views, and other product interactions;
- diagnostic and performance information, including App launch time, hang rate, and energy usage;
- Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and other device or account-related identifiers where available; and
- device, browser, operating-system, language, and advertising information.
Google may use this information for purposes including:
- delivering advertisements;
- selecting contextual, personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads;
- measuring ad performance;
- analytics and reporting;
- frequency control;
- fraud prevention, abuse detection, and security; and
- maintaining and improving advertising services.
The availability and use of advertising identifiers may depend on your Android settings, consent choices, Google service configuration, and applicable law.
3.4 Google User Messaging Platform
Where required, we use the Google User Messaging Platform (“UMP”) to present privacy messages and manage advertising-related consent choices.
Depending on your location, you may be able to:
- consent to or decline certain advertising purposes;
- select preferences for advertising partners;
- choose between personalized, non-personalized, contextual, or limited advertising where available; and
- review or change your choices through the privacy-options entry provided in the App when required.
Your choices may affect how Google and participating advertising partners process information and which advertisements are shown to you.
3.5 Google Play Billing
Subscriptions, free trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and purchase restoration are processed through Google Play Billing.
Google may process payment and account information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details.
The App may receive limited purchase information needed to provide paid features, such as:
- product or subscription identifier;
- purchase token;
- purchase, trial, renewal, cancellation, or expiration status; and
- entitlement status.
This information is used to verify and provide subscription access, prevent unauthorized access, and restore purchases.
4. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- to provide file scanning, categorization, storage analysis, and cleanup features;
- to display files and cleanup recommendations for your review;
- to carry out deletion or organization actions that you select;
- to calculate device-storage use and estimated storage savings;
- to verify subscriptions, free trials, renewals, and paid-feature access;
- to display and measure advertisements;
- to manage privacy and consent choices;
- to understand feature usage and improve the App;
- to diagnose crashes, errors, and performance problems;
- to maintain security, detect abuse, and prevent fraud;
- to respond to support requests; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
We do not use the contents of your personal files to train artificial-intelligence models on our servers.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the App features and subscription services you request.
- Consent: for advertising personalization, analytics storage, advertising storage, or other processing where consent is legally required.
- Legitimate interests: to maintain, secure, troubleshoot, improve, and measure the App, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Compliance with legal obligations: where processing is necessary to meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or enforcement requirements.
You may withdraw consent at any time through the privacy options available in the App where applicable. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
6. Permissions
The App requests permissions only when needed to provide the related feature.
6.1 Photos and Videos
The App may request Android permissions such as:
READ_MEDIA_IMAGESREAD_MEDIA_VIDEO
These permissions allow the App to display and analyze photos and videos for duplicate detection, similarity analysis, screenshot grouping, large-file identification, and cleanup.
6.2 All Files Access
On supported Android versions, the App may request:
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
This permission may be used to scan shared storage and supported non-media files, including files in the Downloads folder, such as APK, ZIP, PDF, and other file types.
All Files Access is used only for the App’s core storage-management and cleanup functions. You can deny or revoke this permission in Android system settings. Some features may be unavailable or incomplete without it.
6.3 Notifications and Other Permissions
The App may request notification or other technical permissions when needed for a feature available in your version of the App. The permission request shown by Android will explain the relevant purpose.
You can manage permissions at any time through your device settings.
7. How Information Is Shared
We may share or allow information to be processed in the following circumstances:
7.1 Service Providers
Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the App, including:
- Google Analytics for Firebase;
- Firebase Crashlytics;
- Google AdMob and participating advertising partners;
- Google User Messaging Platform; and
- Google Play Billing.
These parties process information under their own contractual terms, privacy policies, and legal obligations.
7.2 Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- protect the rights, safety, property, or security of users, the public, us, or third parties;
- detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical problems; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
7.3 Corporate Transactions
If our business or assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information under our control may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
8. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money.
Advertising technologies may involve disclosures of identifiers, device information, general location, and interaction information to Google and advertising partners. Under certain privacy laws, some advertising activities may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” even when no money is exchanged for personal information.
Where required by law, we provide consent or opt-out controls through the App, Google UMP messages, Android advertising settings, or other applicable privacy controls.
You may also reset or delete your Android advertising ID through your device settings, subject to the options available on your Android version.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information under our control.
Relevant safeguards include:
- processing personal file contents locally on your device;
- limiting transmitted analytics and diagnostic information;
- using platform and service-provider security controls;
- restricting access to information to authorized personnel and service providers; and
- using encrypted network connections where supported by the relevant services.
Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Google account, device backups, and system permissions.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
10.1 Local App Data
Local scan results, file analysis, preferences, and related local App data generally remain on your device until you:
- clear the App’s data;
- delete the relevant information through an available App feature; or
- uninstall the App.
Files deleted through the App are handled by Android and your device’s storage system. Depending on your device, deleted files may be moved to a system trash or recycle area before permanent deletion, or they may be deleted immediately. Review the confirmation screen carefully before approving deletion.
10.2 Analytics, Advertising, and Diagnostic Data
Information processed by Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, UMP, and Google Play Billing is retained according to the configuration of those services, our applicable settings, and Google’s retention and deletion policies.
We retain information under our control only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, support, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
10.3 Support Communications
Emails and support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
10.4 Deletion Requests
The App does not require users to create a separate AI Cleaner account.
You may delete local App data by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App. You may also contact us at daniel@hzymlf.com to request access to or deletion of personal information under our control.
We may need to verify your request. Certain information may be retained where required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, recordkeeping, or legal compliance.
11. International Data Transfers
Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, international transfers are carried out using recognized legal mechanisms, contractual protections, or other safeguards provided by the relevant service provider and applicable law.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information, including the right to:
- request access to information under our control;

- lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority.
To exercise a right relating to information under our control, contact daniel@hzymlf.com.
Rights are subject to applicable legal limitations and verification requirements. Because much of the App’s file analysis occurs only on your device, we may not possess the local file information you wish to access or delete.
12.1 EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland may manage applicable advertising and consent choices through the privacy message or privacy-options entry shown in the App.
You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal.
12.2 United States
Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of eligible personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as defined by applicable state law.
We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Where legally required, you may use the consent or privacy controls displayed in the App to manage advertising-related choices.
13. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or to any higher minimum age required by applicable local law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact daniel@hzymlf.com. We will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
The App should be used by minors only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.
14. Automated Processing
The App may automatically classify files, detect similarities, identify large files, and generate cleanup recommendations based on file attributes and local analysis.
These automated processes are designed to assist you. The App does not automatically delete personal files without the deletion action or confirmation required by the relevant App flow.
You should review selected files before confirming deletion.
15. Third-Party Privacy Information
Google services used by the App are governed by Google’s own privacy policy and applicable product terms.
You may review Google’s privacy policy at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Your use of Google Play is also governed by Google Play’s applicable terms, billing rules, and account settings.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our practices.
When we update this Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before materially changing relevant processing activities.
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
